Coaching Partner for Bay City Academy, & Pinconning Area School District
Jennifer is an Early Literacy Coach for Bay-Arenac ISD. She has 20 years of teaching and leadership experience at all levels from kindergarten through college prep. Jennifer holds a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction from Union University in Tennessee, an educational specialist degree in leadership from Grand Valley State University, and she is currently working on her doctorate in leadership with an emphasis on literacy practices through Eastern Michigan University. Jennifer is married with three boys, one is ten and in fifth grade and twins who are nine and in fourth grade. Their favorite ways to spend time together are hiking, kayaking, watching movies, and playing with their cats and chickens. Jennifer is excited to share her love of literacy and lifelong learning!
Coaching Partner for Au Gres-Sims and Bangor Township Schools, K-2
Tracy is an Early Literacy Coach for the Bay-Arenac ISD. She has 9 years of relevant teaching experience, including preschool, Kindergarten, and first grade. Tracy holds a K-12 Literacy Specialist (M.A.T.) Master’s Degree and her Bachelor's of Arts in Elementary Education from Saginaw Valley State University. Tracy is married with two young children, ages 2 and 6. Together they enjoy family adventures and spending quality time with family and friends. She is excited to begin partnering with local schools and educators across the state to increase student engagement and literacy proficiency.
Coaching Partner for Bay City Public Schools & State Street Academy
Alex is an Early Literacy Coach for the Bay-Arenac ISD. She has 11 years of relevant teaching and coaching experience, including reading and math intervention and classroom teaching in both 2nd and 3rd grades. Alexandria holds a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a reading emphasis from Central Michigan University and her Bachelor's of Arts in Elementary Education from Saginaw Valley State University. Alex is married with four young children, ages 8, 6, 4, and 4. As a family, they enjoy swimming, hiking, and taking in community events. She is excited to continue partnering with local schools, literacy leaders, and teachers to reach their literacy goals.
Coaching Partner for Essexville-Hampton Public Schools
Stacy is an educator-on-loan working as an Early Literacy Coach for the Bay-Arenac ISD in Essexville-Hampton Public Schools. She has 18 years of relevant teaching experience, including reading specialist work and grades 2,4 and 5. Stacy has a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from Marygrove College and her Bachelor's of Arts in Elementary Education from Saginaw Valley State University. Stacy is married with three sons who all attend Essexville-Hampton Public Schools. Together, the family enjoys taking in the boys' athletic events and cheering on the Tigers, Lions and Wolverines, to name a few. Stacy is excited to continue to learn as much as she can in this role and share her passion for early literacy with others.
Coaching Partner for Au Gres-Sims and Bangor Township Schools, 3-5
Amanda is a BAISD Early Literacy Coach for Bangor Township and Au Gres-Sims, supporting grades 3-5. She has 14 years of relevant teaching experience in grades 2-6. Amanda is attaining her Master’s Degree as a K-12 Literacy Specialist (M.A.T.), and has her Bachelor’s of Arts in Elementary Education, with a double minor in Reading and Social Studies through Saginaw Valley State University. Amanda is happily married, and they have a yellow lab and a house rabbit. They all enjoy taking camping trips in the national forests together, and lazy pontoon rides. Amanda is also an avid Michigan fan (Go Blue!). Amanda knows that she will be working with teachers with amazing and unique skills and talents that will be used to increase the proficiency and engagement of all students.
