Jennifer Gourd
Coaching Partner for Bangor Township Schools, Bay City Academy, & Pinconning Area School District
Jen is an Early Literacy Coach for the Bay-Arenac ISD. She has 15 years of relevant coaching experience as well as teaching K-5 reading intervention and grades K, 2, and 3. Jennifer has her Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Walden University and her Bachelor's of Arts in Elementary Education from Saginaw Valley State University. Jen is married with two teenage children that attend Bay City Public Schools. As a family they enjoy outdoor activities such as mountain biking, rock climbing, hiking and also love to explore National Parks. She is excited to continue her work as a BAISD Early Literacy Coach and loves working and partnering with local teachers.
Alexandria Hill
Coaching Partner for Bay City Public Schools & State Street Academy
Alex is an Early Literacy Coach for the Bay-Arenac ISD. She has 10 years of relevant teaching and coaching experience, including reading intervention and grades 2 and 3. Alexandria is in her final weeks working toward a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a reading emphasis from Central Michigan University and her Bachelor's of Arts in Elementary Education from Saginaw Valley State University. Alex is married with four young children, two of whom are with the family through the foster care system. They enjoy spending time together and taking in community events. She is excited to continue partnering with local schools, literacy leaders, and teachers to reach their literacy goals.
Stacy Maze
Coaching Partner for Essexville-Hampton Public Schools & Au Gres-Sims School District
Stacy is the newest Early Literacy Coach for the Bay-Arenac ISD. She has 17 years of relevant teaching experience, including reading specialist work and grades 2,4 and 5. Stacy has a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from Marygrove College and her Bachelor's of Arts in Elementary Education from Saginaw Valley State University. Stacy is married with three sons who all attend Essexville-Hampton Public Schools. Together, the family enjoys taking in the boys' athletic events and cheering on the Tigers, Lions and Wolverines, to name a few. Stacy is excited to learn as much as she can in this new role and share her passion for early literacy with others.
